Formations by Annosh Urbanke

'Formations' is a series of work about observing the forms that appear around me in everyday life. It's about blending different elements or objects in my surroundings in order to create new formations. I'm looking for temporary compositions that can't be recreated, because I don't have control over the elements they consist of. Working this way makes me more aware of my surroundings in the moment.

I feel inspired by the endless change of colorplays, I am constantly looking for balances in colors, forms and patterns. Also the influence of the seasons and weather inspires me. I love to observe how a single element can completely change a composition for a moment, and how it sometimes transforms something ordinary into something special.
